Traveling by Airplane:


Closest airport: Frankfurt Main International Airport


Arriving at Frankfurt Airport, Terminal 1:

  • Collect your luggage on the arrival level
  • Follow signs to “Regionalbahnhof” (= regional train station)
  • Go to “Reisezentrum” (= travel center) and purchase a train ticket to Fulda
    (the cheapest ticket – by “RE”-train - currently costs approx. € 12,00)
  • Take “S-Bahn” (= city railway) to “Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof” (= main train station);
    journey time approx. 10 minutes
  • Get off S-Bahn at Hauptbahnhof and take a train to Fulda

  • Collect your luggage on the arrival level
  • Follow signs “Bahnhöfe via Sky Line” (= train station via Sky Line)
  • Follow signs to “Regionalbahnhof” (= regional train station)
  • Go to “Reisezentrum” (= travel center) and purchase a train ticket to Fulda
    (the cheapest ticket – by “RE”-train - currently costs € 11,30)
  • Take “S-Bahn” (= city railway) to “Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof” (= main train station);
    journey time approx. 10 minutes
  • Get off S-Bahn at Hauptbahnhof and take a train to Fulda

Trains to Fulda leave every hour. Journey time is 1h20 by RE. You can find out train schedules in the internet under www.bahn.de.
